Roberto Ricardo-Gonzalez is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at UCSF. He is a dermatologist and immunologist studying the communication between immune and tissue cells and how these relationships can promote or disrupt tissue health. He started his independent laboratory in the Summer of 2021. Outside of bench science, Roberto is interested in promoting equity and diversity in science, learning and improving science communication, and supporting the new generation of scientists.
