Personal Introduction
Roxane Tussiwand, Immune Regulation NIDCR/NIH
I am a tenure track investigator at NIH. I received my B.S. and Master at the University of Milan, Italy, and obtained my PhD in molecular medicine at the institute of research in biomedicine, IRB in Bellinzona, Switzerland. I did a postdoctoral training in Basel with Ton Rolink and at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis with Ken Murphy.
My Lab is focused on understanding Dendritic cell biology and how commitment into the different lineages occurs during early stages of hematopoiesis. At the NIH we work in collaboration with several groups and have created a community of scientist with different backgrounds that nourishes the science integrating our knowledge and expertise.
