Personal Introduction
I am a lover of immunology, T cells and immunological memory. I find training scientists and the pursuit of discovery a gift I get to live every day. The culture and dynamics of research and science is changing rapidly not only technically, but also as it relates to the training environments and career opportunities. There are many new opportunities and challenges we need to contend with today that were not present before. On a personal note, I grew up in the NW in Washington state and love being outdoors and hiking. I have two amazing daughters and an phenomenal husband and partner. I am almost always in a good mood and I really like eating cheese and drinking wine...especially by the ocean at sunset.
