Solving For Science is helping launch a new public benefit company built around how research gets read, shared and credited. It is now being tested in dozens of labs under a new public benefit corporation-benefitting science and scientists.

Science is only as good as the people who read it. Today, the value of a study is too often judged by the journal it appears in rather than the quality of the work. And the people closest to the research, like the lab tech who reads a paper and thinks it’s genuinely important, often have nowhere to say so.
CURATE began as an idea from within our community of scientists: a transparent, efficient and fair way to share knowledge that values scientific quality over journal branding. Our Discovery Stack pilot tested a new approach to peer review, and the results are published on bioRxiv.
CURATE has now spun off Discovery Curator, a new public benefit corporation built to benefit science and scientists. Discovery Curator is already being tested in dozens of labs, giving researchers at every level a structured way to surface the work they think matters.
Solving For Science helped launch Discovery Curator so scientists everywhere can share impactful work more quickly and easily, build a more collaborative and equitable scientific community, and speed up the pace of discovery. We’ll have more to share soon.
